A well-established keepered shoot just outside Westhill near Aberdeen that has been running for 29 years, averaging 120 birds per day over that period, this season 132 birds/day. Well-appointed bothy where we meet and have lunches with the beaters. The membership offer includes:
• 5 x 120 bird driven days (half gun 2½ days, the ½ day shared with opposite number) and catered lunch
• Optional 10 walked-up days plus beaters day
• Year round access to the ground for rabbits, pigeons etc
• BASC syndicate membership: required for insurance purposes, see below
• Keeper’s Xmas bonus
• Participation in working parties during the year for building pens and suchlike
The full gun fee is £3,800 (half gun is £2,360) of which half is paid in March and the other half in August.
